Feature and Follow #13

Question of the Week: Hard print (real thing) or Kindle/Nook, which is your favorite? – Suggested byThe Realm of Books

My answer:I like hard print, but also I like to read Kindle, because those kind of formats are well done sometimes have real pages or I like that with time counting.

Now for the Follow Fun!

I prefer following via GFC!

With GFC going the way of the dodo bird for many bloggers, there is no better time to start following blogs via RSS feed. If you use a reader, it would be great if you followed my RSS directly.

  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.
  5. If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
  6. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”
  7. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love…and the followers
  8. If you’re new to the Follow Friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!
Next Week’s Question:
Do you read more than 1 book at a time, and if so, how, like a certain amount of pages per book before moving on to the next one in the queue? – Suggested by Words I Write Crazy

  1. I love and use both formats. Hard copy novels by my favorite authors' because I collect their books. But my Kindle is getting more use these days with instant I want to read it now downloads, NetGalley and simple convenience.

  2. It may seem a bit odd, but I actually feel comforted by the fact that I can look down in the left corner of my Kindle book and see the time that it estimates it to take me to read the book. lol. Then, on the other hand, it makes me a little bit competitive for some reason and I feel like I'm actually competing with a darn electronic device trying to read faster than it's estimating that I will to complete the book. Insane, I know. Hahaha. 🙂

Happy Reading and Hopping Through! 🙂
