My review:

Madison seems like an ordinary girl, but she is more than that. She is kind of celebrity in the blogging world with millions of followers who like everything that she writes about her favorite movies. Behind the cover of her blog, Madi is supportive and protective sister, who even displaces absent parent in her sister’s live.

Internet Famous is a sweet, sensational and touching story about young girl Madison. The story keeps my interest till the end; mainly I wanted to know who the hacker is and what will happen with Madi and Laurent.  I like that the author brought my feelings from cold to hot when she tells about Madi’s parents and the situation I was nervous, I wanted to slap Madi’s mother. Parts were Madi, and Laurent showed up or was Madi’s blog in focus I felt warm in my heart.

Madi is the adorable girl she must deal with all barriers which her life brings. She is an introvert yet a famous blogger. The absence of her mother makes Madi’s life complicated, and her father doesn’t help much.

Laurent is an exchange student from France with whom Madi communicates thinking that he is a girl, but when they see each other, there are sparkles.

I recommend this book to young people who want to read the exciting, captivating and swoony story.

This book was provided by the author in exchange for the honest review.

My rating 5/5(amazing book).

Alliances are formed, one side fighting for survival, and the other for retribution.

A honeymoon…

Traveling to the sandy beaches of Sardinia, Italy, the couple will explore what brought them together in the first place, instead of the life that constantly threatens to tear them apart.

But as the newly appointed Boss of the Volkov Bratva, is it too late for Mishca to have an even remotely normal life…and is Lauren ready to face another challenge that neither of them saw coming…

EXCERPT

More importantly, was the man seated behind the cherry-wood desk. He was in his late fifties from what Mishca had told her, but just by looking at him, she wouldn’t have guessed that. His eyes were a dark gray, his black hair graying at the temples. Upon seeing her, he smiled, standing to his full height, which was just a few inches shorter than Mishca, and came around the desk, extending his hand.

“You must be Lauren,” he said coolly, his accent much thicker than Mishca’s, making Lauren have to concentrate to understand him. “It is nice to finally put a face to the name.”

“Nice to meet you, Mr. Volkov,” she said, taking his hand. He had a firm handshake despite his age, and made quite the imposing sight. Whereas Mishca was lean, he was built like a bull.

“Please,” he said, waving a hand. “There is no need for such formalities, call me Mikhail. I trust you have met my wife, Anya.”

“Yes,” she replied, smiling over at Anya.

“Please have a seat,” Mikhail offered, gesturing out to the comfortable looking wingback chairs that were grouped together near the fireplace. “I must confess,” he went on after they were all seated, “when Mishca told me he was going to bring a girl here, I was astonished. I have never met any of the girls in his life.”

Lauren’s brows shot up as she glanced at Mishca. A muscle ticked in his jaw, but he didn’t comment.

“He must care for you greatly to bring you here.”

Mishca scoffed. “You’re going to scare her off.”

Mikhail’s face split into a grin, his eyes warming. “Nonsense. It is a reasonable assumption, no?”

They broke out into a heated discussion in Russian, snapping back and forth, but while Mishca seemed to be growing angrier, Mikhail only appeared amused.

“Would you care for something to drink, Lauren?” Anya asked, cutting in over them, walking over to an antique whiskey service that held several carafes of dark Amber liquid and a couple bottles of water.

She looked between Mishca and Mikhail, shaking her head. “No, I’m fine. Thank you.”

Mikhail turned his attention to the bay windows as a car drove up. “It looks like your sister is here. Could you escort her in?”

Mishca hesitated, his eyes flickering to Lauren, but he ultimately stood and walked out without glancing back.

“You’ll have to excuse my son,” Mikhail said conversationally, as he accepted his drink from Anya. “Love makes a man blind.”

She was momentarily taken aback by what he was saying. To be honest, she had never thought that they were there in their relationship.

“You don’t think so?” He asked reading her expression. “You are more important to him than you realize.”

My review:

Alison is tired to be outside girl. She is feeling like invisible everywhere she is showing up no one notices her. She is working for her brother Nick and his friend Jared in their tech company. Alison is confident when it comes to her work, but her social life especially her love life sucks. She is powerless when it comes to her look, and she want to change that. She wants complete different image about her, but that is the problem she doesn’t have a female or someone to helps her. Her mother dies she has her brother, her father, and grandfather and no one couldn’t assist her with her intention. She asks her friend Jared for help.

This is cute, romance book. I enjoy reading it about Alison changes. I like how she transforms from an ugly duckling in a swan. I like how she is so persistent, and she knows what she wants. I didn’t like how the story goes slow in the first half of the book, but that doesn’t stop me from reading it whole and enjoying in it. The first half of the book is all about changes and need about it, but then the story goes a little bit faster with some turns which I expected.

Alison is young woman dedicated to her work, but in that particular part of her life, she wants changes. She wants to feel love. She is withdrawn and little bit fearful when it comes to her social life. She thinks that is because of her look, so she wants to change her look and trough it to change her social status from single to engage.

Jared is a fateful friend, but he is like part of the family. I like how he is persistent and full of understanding.

Nick is an overprotective brother; I understand his wish to protect his sister, but I don’t approve such behavior.

I recommend this book to the romantic lovers it is slow, but the exhibiting fullness of thoughts.

EXCERPT

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?”

“Saving you.”

“Pray tell, from what? The evil leprechaun who lives in your pub?”

He continued dragging me out to my car, as if I hadn’t spoken. We stopped at my SUV and he looked extremely uncomfortable and royally pissed off about something.

I dug around in my purse for my errant keys, counting the seconds until I could escape this never ending nightmare. “Well, thanks for saving me from whatever you were saving me from. I gotta run now.”

I unlocked the door and went to get in when he spun me around and caged me up against the side with his hands. “Brennan, what the—”

He silenced me with a growl and a punishing kiss. I was so surprised, I gasped and he took advantage of my open mouth to deepen the kiss with his tongue. His beard gently scratched and sparked across my skin, awakening feelings in me that had long since gone dormant. My hands instinctively went to his chest to try to push him off, but it was then he changed tactics and moved to my neck. My area of weakness. My Achilles heel but on my neck, if you will. Oh, he did not fight fair. Whatever the hell he was up to, he was in for it if he thought he could silence me with a kiss. A damn fine, hot as hell kiss, but still. The righteous indignation was spilling out of me. Ha, I was a great liar, turned amazing actress and now I was even trying to fool myself. I was into the kiss. No doubt about it. The heat spreading from ground zero was all the proof I needed.

He came back to my mouth with an aggression that was intense and angry. Abruptly, he ended the kiss, pushed away from me, turned on his heel and walked away without a single sound coming from that luscious mouth. I was so stunned that I didn’t move a muscle or say a word, but lifted my hand to touch lips that I was sure were red and swollen and scratched all to hell.

I slowly turned and got in my car, started it and carelessly peeled out of the parking lot, not caring where in the world I was going, just trying to get somewhere where my life made sense.

My review:

Life could be much easier with your favorite movie character alive, isn’t it?

College freshman Liv is fan girl of the Starveil Movies. She can’t move from the theatre after she saw that her favorite character Spartan from Starveil movies dies. With little help from her best friend Xander she goes back home, but she doesn’t looks or feels right, she is mourning. Spartan is everything to her not just fictional character. Liv decides that the best she could do is to try bring back Spartan alive. She tries that with help of Xander.

This book makes me believe in the power of the social media and how powerful could be one person when her world is apart and she is determinate to bring that world back.

The story is in the modern world where internet and the social media rules. I really can’t imagine the world without internet. It is about Liv, young girl which is fan of Starveil movie. Everyone could understand Liv because we all are fan of some movie or book. But Liv is more than fan, she lives for that movie. I like how the story goes and I like because I learn great things about cons and fandom, which I didn’t know. I enjoy reading the story because the author’s writing brings the story so vivid and real and captivating.

Live is more than great character to me, she is so good developed and well described by the author that I feel like I had her near me. I like how she acts and I understand her sorrow about losing Spartan- the movie character.  I like that she is modest girl and that she is withdrawn she reminds me how I was in the past. Then I love how she goes straight on her feet to bring back her favorite character of the dead.

Xander is favorite character to me because he is little bit mysterious in his feelings that give him specialty and charm. He is good friend and supportive with Liv even when he thinks that she is not reasonable. Without him the book will be hollow.

I recommend this book to YA fans and to everyone who likes the good story about passion, fandom and friendships.

That Green Italian Wagon by LM Selby-review

Title: That Green Italian Wagon

Author: LM Selby

Genre:Contemporary, Romance

My review:

Wanda moves from Australia to Europe, actually in Holland with two teenage kids. She is the woman how lot travels. She books everywhere through Europe. Her journey starts from Austria, then Italy. There in Italy they find some great green car and all together decide to buy that car for her son. Since they buy that green Italian wagon they travel through Europe in it experiencing good adventure, meeting great people, visiting all friends and share this with their family.

This is the family story. The story about one single mother trying to stay in the rate of life and raises her children properly. This story is for family, how family stays together despite all traps and falls. The family travel through the ocean and made their home in Holland, Europe. They don’t stop to travel; on the contrary they continue to travel through all Europe. When they find their favorite car in Italy they travel in that car everywhere in Italy, Monaco, France, Austria, and United Kingdom. I was surprised how much country and places they visit and I was disappointed how little descriptions about those places contain this book. Descriptions about places and countries are very  minimal or there aren’t descriptions at all. The author supposes to write a bit more descriptions about countries, which Wanda and her kids visited. There in this book I feel the big connections between Wanda and her children. Her son stays in UK, but they plan and travel together in their green Italian wagon.

Wanda is mother, adventurous and business woman. She is woman who wants to travel and show the world to her kids. She is single mother who wants to give to her children everything love, good education and warm home. I admire her how she could do all that things, made for living and still travel a lot. In the end of the book she will finds what she deserves and that is perfect end for me.

I find this book interesting with all those places and adventures, but still missing something very important, descriptions about all those places. This book is warm and calm read, about family and all important things in life.

I recommend this book to everyone who likes family stories little bit spiced with adult scenes.

My review:

Tess is tired from moving almost every year. In her senior year she must moves again because her father say so, she hopes that this is for last time. Tess parents are divorced; she lives with her father, military veteran with minimal salary. Tess’s mother lives in California with her new family. First day to new school and Tess meets some guy Drew, she doesn’t like to make friendships, but destiny has another plan for her. For the teachers Tess and Drew seams as perfect partner Tess is kind of rebel girl with potential and Drew is great student. Drew will bring some freshness in Tess gray life and forgotten memories also.

I like this book, because I’m not used to read books with violence, I deliberately avoid that kind of book, but this book was different and I’m not regretting that I read it. The author descriptions for events in book is very subtly and pleasant.

Tess is rebel girl, she has her reasons for that, also she has a potential for be better student and girl.
Drew is perfect boy, great student and mannered, kind and supportive. Both of them are confused about their future, about what they want to be, what they want to study. It’s typical for their age, but also that was because their fathers, both of them veterans and demanding and strict.

It was interesting to read about people destiny and how everything it’s going around as perfect circle.

Excerpt:
Victoria was attempting to create the impression she was engrossed in her work. From the moment Dan collected Seth, she’d buried her head in buff-coloured files, raising it once to study her monitor. At that moment, she realised Juliette was watching her.
I’m all right, Joo, honestly.’ That was a lie. She was preoccupied with thoughts of Chris Frampton returning home, considering ways to stop EweSpeak’s Board of Directors from travelling a destructive path, and despairing over her non-existent relationship with her son. She grimaced. ‘Apart from the blinding headache.’
She thrust herself away from the desk and rubbed the back of her neck. Her life was too cluttered for her to make informed decisions, and too many demands were being made of her, emotionally and physically. Something had to give. ‘I could do without this stupid business with the board.’
Do you think they’ll go ahead?’
Victoria huffed. ‘Of course they will. They’re motivated by money. They’ll do whatever it takes to keep their bank accounts full and their fat backsides comfortable.’
But they have a duty of loyalty, and their report states the move will secure the future of EweSpeak—’
It only secures their position, Juliette. Let’s face facts. We made bad choices, electing certain members to the board. We were blinded by their past successes. They’re cut-throat businessmen with reputations to uphold.’ Victoria swung her chair round and gaped at her sister. ‘I’ll bet a year’s salary there’ll be redundancies.’
But if charging clients to join will increase profits—’
Victoria cut her off again. ‘Did you miss the bit where they proposed paying celebrities for exclusive bleats? It’s ridiculous. It won’t work. People will opt out. Our followers enjoy the personal contact, the chance to hold a discussion with like-minded souls, maybe even exchange a bleat with their idol. If it’s sensationalism they want, they’ll buy a glossy magazine, or worse, they’ll flock to our competitors. They won’t subscribe to our network.’ She shook her head. ‘It has disaster written all over it.’
I don’t see it. The board’s acting in the company’s best interest. We have to make money. And it’s not just their pockets they’re lining, is it?’ Juliette waved a hand in the direction of the window. ‘I don’t hear you complaining about the flashy, two-seater sports car you’ve parked in our private garage.’
Victoria reached for the remote on her desk, and switched on the TV. ‘I need a break.’ She stood, gave her arms a stretch, and walked across to the sofa, collapsing into it, irascible and frustrated. Surely Juliette wasn’t voting with the board? Victoria cast her eyes to the large screen, scoured through the programme guide, and settled on a news channel.
It was a mistake.
Wherever her eyes fell – the TV, online, mobile applications – Chris’s then thirty-five-year-old haunted face appeared, vacant, pale and broken. There was no escape from the dated footage of him being jostled out of the way of bloodthirsty, aggressive photographers or being hustled into his ranch house by burly security men. Victoria had seen the images thirty, maybe forty times in the last couple of years. Every piece of technology in her office was broadcasting his grief all over again, and each time his name was typed, bleated, or beamed across the Internet, and for every second his tormented features were on public display, Victoria was on trial. Her technology, the company, the brand she had developed and grown was helping prolong his terror. To see this beautiful man reduced to a floorshow for the cheap seats made her sick to the stomach.
She jumped at a touch to her arm.
Are you okay?’ Juliette took the remote from Victoria, switched off the TV, and sat down. ‘I’m sorry I called him your obsession. This must be hard for you.’
Victoria shrugged. Although she understood Juliette’s concern, she didn’t appreciate intrusion, and sharing, as her sister called it, was not Victoria’s way. There’d been far too much of that already. A small shudder ran through her. ‘It’s complicated,’ she said, hoping a few words, regardless of content, would appease Juliette.

Zara is wakes with headache and naked man beside her after party night with her girlfriends,so isn’t as it looks there with them was and her girlfriend Cristal and she tells her that nothing happened. That was her hen party with her girlfriends Gina,Amber and Bella, they comes from UK to be with her and Cristal their girlfriend in US.After that they going to shopping and Zara had some accident with bike and she ends in Hospital unconscious.Bruce was all the time with her pleas her to wake up and be OK.

When I receive this book I look in cover in that beautiful woman face and I though this must be great book and I didn’t wrong.I enjoy reading this book till the end, it’s pretty big book, but it’s worth  of reading. The book is written in third person, I don’t like much that kind of books but I enjoy reading this one.
The story is funny and quick with humor here and there, twists and turns from the beginning till the end.

I like Zara she is beautiful, modern and interesting young woman and I like her girlfriends too, they are with her even if they lives in other continents.
In the beginning I like Bruce and his behavior around Zara, his concerns when she was hurt, but while I turn the pages he was start to becomes little bit unlikable person, with all those money transactions and God knows what.
Here in this book you will find love, concerns, humor, past which will becomes present again and more.

About the author:
Working in the sports therapy field for some fifteen years the opportunity to work in some diverse areas came about and led to the meeting of some very competitive, challenging individuals, who make up the sporting world. Current affairs of the heart of many women today allowed me to see that we all search for the perfect soul partner. Both male and female clients produced this result, from many a conversation and gossip on the bench, (massage work relaxes the body as well as the mind). Clients worldwide found choosing their ideal partner a lottery.
This inspired me to look more closely at how marriage choices are made through the heart or the mind. Having travelled round the world my research led me to be inspired by the excitement of each country visited and how my heroine could become incorporated within these settings combining the sporting calendar and outdoor pursuits of each destination I found exciting and that created a passion within.
