Hannah Fielding bio

Portrait of Hannah Fielding and photos of where she writes.

Hannah Fielding is an incurable romantic. The seeds for her writing career were sown in early childhood, spent in Egypt, when she came to an agreement with her governess Zula: for each fairy story Zula told, Hannah would invent and relate one of her own. Years later – following a degree in French literature, several years of travelling in Europe, falling in love with an Englishman, the arrival of two beautiful children and a career in property development – Hannah decided after so many years of yearning to write that the time was now. Today, she lives the dream: writing full time at her homes in Kent, England, and the South of France, where she dreams up romances overlooking breath-taking views of the Mediterranean.

Hannah is a multi-award-winning novelist, and to date she has published five novels: Burning Embers, ‘romance like Hollywood used to make’, set in Kenya; The Echoes of Love, ‘an epic love story that is beautifully told’, set in Italy; and the Andalusian Nights Trilogy Indiscretion, Masquerade and Legacy – her fieriest novels yet, set in sunny, sultry Spain.

My review:

Emma Lee Raines lives in small town as proprietor in Eternal Slumber a funeral home. But she is more than proprietor she is a “betweener” helps ghosts to cross over, but only murdered one after she solving their murder. She is very successful in solving those mysteries.

A Ghostly Secret grabbed me right from the start. It’s part of the series seventh book. It’s light, fun and enjoyable read. I enjoyed the mystery part with a little girl and wanted to know more about her with every turned page, who is it, why she doesn’t tell anything. The events move along capturing the reader to turn pages until the end where the things get cleared.

The story is written in first person point of view and Emma Lee Raines is the narrator. I love how she tells the story and I like this character so much the only thing that I didn’t like about her was her hesitation, I’m not telling you why because it would be a spoiler.

I highly recommend this book to everyone who loves cozy mysteries, who wants fun, light books with enjoyable hints of romance.

My rating 5/5(amazing book).

Designing for the future: trends we need to consider now -post

“This blog post is a part of Design Blogger Competition organized by CGTrader

You could get more information following this link:

In trying to figure it out how will look like the future interior design I am a little bit lost. First of all, this isn’t my field; my super topics are books. Secondly, I am buying furniture guiding myself along though I like it I must have that into my home. Searching the internet, I learn many things related to the interior design and the design itself. It helps me to change my perspective about the interior design, and I enjoy in very beautiful ideas.

Envisioning the future can be tricky. Lots of experts around the globe try to predict where the world might be in hundred years and a lot of debates come out what the future hold.

The interior design must to solve multiple problems and be according with rapidly growing technology. If we are presuming that the number of population will grow that could be the problem number one to be solved, then like I said the ever evolving technology must be considered. There are needs, desires, and wants, spending patterns, lifestyles and economic factors of the people.

So, how it will be? How yours or mine home would look like in the future?

Let me think. I think it would be small but smart home. It might be underground like those small green roofed hobbit houses. It would be small and functional but cozy home.

That little home might be a smart home that means that any device that uses electricity in the home might be put on the network and on your command. So you could give the command by voice, remote control, smart phone or tablet and your home will react.

The smart homes are a reality. The experts predict that smart homes will go further than they are now standalone devices. They predict that smart interiors will be built into the structure of our homes and they already are.

Are you ready for something crazy that came up to my mind? How about virtual reality in your smart home, like when you want to change wallpaper on the clap of your hands? Or how would look like to change the flooring snapping your fingers? I know, I know already go further into the future.

Virtual reality is very useful tool for the designers. The concept of virtual reality in the field of interior design is by no means new. For years those in the industry have been using apps and systems with which customers can see what a specific piece of furniture would look like in their own home. There are many websites which offer online or applications, 3D tour of your future home, or to design your own apartment, office in 5D.

And, for the end of this little journey, I have one smart quote about the interior design which says: “I appreciate history, but you have to bring your own experience into your rooms.” – Istvan Francer.

They have met at university, and it has been hate at first sight, she is all he despises, he is annoys her.

Amalia Berger is successful, an attractive lawyer who lives and works in New York. She is an independent and gorgeous woman, but everyone just looks her inheritance not who she really is.

Ryan O’ Moore lives in Chicago, but he gets promotions and becomes assistant DA in New York. His family has restaurant in New York, and he is near them, but he doesn’t feel as it is a positive thing.

After many years Amelia and Ryan meet each other in a courtroom fighting as crazy and provoke anger in the judge. The judge decides to punish them with community service forcing them to spend time together.

This is the second book by Anna Permoli which I’ve read, and I enjoy doing it. I already put the author on my favorite list, because she makes me laugh, speaks to my heart and makes me dream.

This is an entertaining read, and if I could get Amalia out from the book, she will be my best friend. She is woman with strength and ambitious, independent and successful lawyer with a sharp tongue.

Ryan is reserved in the first half of the book, not knowing what he wants, but then he becomes more likable in the second half of the book and at the moment looks like alpha male decisively making a move.

I highly recommend this book to everyone who likes romance and light-hearted books which make you laugh and have goose bumps while you read.

This book was provided by publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Taken by J.C. Valentine- release day blitz

by J.C. Valentine
Publication Date: April 18, 2017
Genres: Adult, Romantic Suspense, Contemporary, Romance, Standalone, Novella

Love is blind…
Especially when you’ve been abducted.

Caught in the dredges of life, Elise had come to the grudging conclusion that mediocrity was all she’d ever have.
Until a routine shopping trip turns into a deadly affair.

Taken. Two men, one a brute and the other an enigma. A cabin in the woods. One dangerous agenda.

Blindfolded and held captive, Elise’s mundane existence just got a whole lot more interesting. Thrust into the unknown, held prisoner by a man with rough hands and a gentle voice, she’s faced with her own demise while struggling against a growing desire for the unacceptable—her captor.

Will Elise make out with her life—and heart—intact?

What was that she’d said about not having encountered a penis in ages? Well, Elise was getting an up close and personal introduction with Manhandler’s member, and it was rock hard and ready to please, judging by the way it was prodding persistently between her legs as if demanding entry.

And Elise was one sick pup, because, after managing to fall asleep then waking up to the feel of it wedged between her thighs, coupled with the hardness and warmth of her captor firmly wrapped around her, she had become wetter than the Niagara Falls.

This was what happened when you went without proper male attention for too long. Clearly, her body was looking for love in all the wrong places. Holy crap! She needed to get her head screwed on straight. Nothing about her sudden and growing desire was okay. Not a damn thing.

She wasn’t sure how long she laid there, feeling the gentle throb of his cock against her buttocks, his soft breath tickling her ear, sweating from the immense heat of his body against hers—he was like an inferno!—and keeping track of the thump of his heart pounding against her back. Thanks to her lack of sight, Elise only knew sensations, and they were more than enough to send her thoughts spiraling down a rabbit hole she had no business exploring.

So when the door slammed open and Driver burst in, Elise was both terrified and relieved.

“Rise and shine!” Driver shouted at the same time Manhandler yanked Elise beneath him, covering her body with his, and roared, “What the fuck! I could have shot you, you motherfucker!”

“You’re not that trigger happy,” Driver said confidently.

Elise heard the distinct metallic click of what she assumed to be the hammer being reset—on a gun!—beside her ear.

“You’re damn lucky for that,” Manhandler snarled. “You dumb fuck.”

“Got your heart pumping. You’ve been needing to get more cardio in anyway. Get rid of those love handles.”

Manhandler growled his irritation. “Get out before I put a bullet in your ass.”

“Need a few minutes alone with the missus?”

It was then Elise became highly aware of exactly where Manhandler was positioned. Or more specifically, how. And judging by how Manhandler stiffened, his whole body going rock steady, she knew he’d realized it too.

“It’s not what it looks like.”

“Hey, I’m not saying anything. You wanna shit where you eat? Fine by me. Just don’t let it go to your head. Well, the one that counts anyway. We might have to shoot her later.” With that little gem of advice, Driver closed the door, whistling a cheery little tune as he went.

Elise, though highly disturbed, was also keenly aware of the man on top of her. His body was everywhere, so much wider and heavier than her own…and it felt amazing. Even more amazing was the hard ridge of his cock pressed right up tight against her cleft, which wouldn’t have been an issue at all had she not inadvertently opened her legs when he’d rolled on top of her, creating the perfect cradle for his hips to rest in.

And without her sight, all she could do was lie there and focus on what was going on below the waist.

“Well, this is an interesting turn of events,” Manhandler said with a casual flair that Elise found admirable, considering she was beginning to experience heart palpitations.

“Why are you on top of me?” she demanded to know, her tone fraught with irritation.

“Don’t get so defensive, buttercup. I’m not the one who spread his legs like butter.”

She gasped, affronted. “You’re the one who climbed on top of me!”

“To protect you!”

“From your egotistical asshat friend!”

“I was half asleep. I didn’t know who the hell it was,” he hissed back. Then, with a grunt, he shoved away from her. The bedsprings squawked loudly as he sprang to his feet. “You act as if I stripped you down to your panties and tried to get inside you.”

God, just those words were enough to make Elise shiver. And not in a bad way. Not at all.

Apparently, her silence was enough to give him pause. “Wait…is that what you’re pissed about?”

“What?” she asked through clenched teeth. She already knew where this was going, because she was thinking it too.

“That’s it, isn’t it?” There was a smugness to his tone that she didn’t appreciate one bit. He came closer again, and she could feel him looming over her. “You liked me on top of you.”

“No, I didn’t.” Rolling away from the sound of his voice, Elise’s feet found the floor and she popped up, wanting desperately to run away but not knowing where to go without removing the blindfold, which could very well be a death sentence.

Manhandler came up behind her, his smug attitude full-watt. “Yeah, you did. You wanted the D. Just admit it.” She felt his heat a second before she felt his lips beside her ear. In a low, gruff voice laced with desire, he said, “If you wanted it, all you had to do was ask, buttercup.”

Rome Is Where The Heart Is by Tilly Tennant – review

Title: Rome is Where the Herat is

Author: Tilly Tennant

Genre: Fiction, Romance, Chick lit

Pages: 336(I’ve read Kindle edition)

buy it on Amazon

My review:

Kete and her husband Matt live her life in happiness, or at least Kate thinks like that. Matt wants a divorce and Kate finds herself hurt and devastated. With the help of her two supportive sisters, she goes in Rome alone. Expecting to cure her broken heart she isn’t afraid. Rome is beautiful, but the Italian man called Alessandro is enchanting.

Searching Net Galley for a new read I found Rome Is Where the Heart Is. I was so excited because I didn’t have read any book by Tilly Tennant. The blurb sounded like this is it, I would love this book. The excitement still lasts till the second half of the book started to be a little bit slowly.

Rome Is Where the Heart Is is the first book from the From Italy with Love series. The story centered on Kate and her romance trip in Rome.

The story starts when Kate’s husband wants a divorce and she too devastated and broken goes to Rome alone to heal her wounds. Kate is a lovable character who just wants to relax and finds herself in this bad world. While she tries to enjoy in Rome alone, she meets Jamie and then Alessandro. Jamie is one great American man, very friendly. Alessandro is one handsome Italian man, very attractive.

The calm and bright tone is what I like the most while I read this book, but slow-paced of events make me feel like I would drop it.

I recommend this book for everyone who likes light, calm books which make you feel relaxed.

My rating 3/5(good book)

A Strange Companion by Lisa Manterfield-blast

A Strange Companion by Lisa Manterfield

Kat Richardson isn’t running away from grief; she’s just hiding out in a gloomy Welsh university town until she’s sure it’s gone. Now, one year, nine months, and 27 days after the climbing death of her first love, Gabe, she thinks she’s ready to venture out into the relationship world again. And Owen—a cake-baking, Super Ball-making chemistry student—appears to be a kind, funny, and very attractive option.

But the arrival of Kat’s newly adopted niece, Mai, forces her home to northern England, where she runs headfirst into all the memories of Gabe she’s tried to leave behind—and discovers that Mai stirs up an unnerving feeling of déjà vu. Before long, Kat’s logical, scientific beliefs about life after death are in battle with what she feels to be true—that reincarnation is real and Gabe has come back to her through Mai. The question now, is why?

Taking on the topics of love, loss, and how we deal with grief, A Strange Companion is a twisted love triangle among the living, the dead, and the reincarnated.

I ran my hand along the log, waiting for my fingers to find the small indentations I knew would be there. They didn’t. The initials and the heart that Gabe had carved into the bark of the log now lay beneath a smooth carpet of moss, as if our love was something lost to the past. I pressed my finger into the moss but not a single tear would come. I simply sat there on the log and remembered.
Grief, apparently, had a mind of its own. It had snuck up on me in unexpected places, but now that I needed it, it would not do my bidding. I pushed up off the log, wiping at my dry eyes. I would be home for three full weeks, plenty of time to go looking for grief. My hometown was filled with memories of Gabe and I’d keep looking until I found them all.

You Drive Me Crazy by Anna Permoli-review

Title: You Drive Me Crazy
Author: Anna Permoli
Genre: Fiction, Chick Lit, Romance
Pages:292(I’ve read Kindle Edition)
Buy it: Amazon
My review:
Madison had never been abroad for work. She got the opportunity to go to Seoul instead in New York. Madison was ready to do everything to stay in London, but nothing worked. She supposed to work with the man she hated, and he hated her too. Besides he was her new boss.
Looking for a good read, I found this novel on NetGalley. I’ve never heard before about Anna Permoli. From the first page, I’ve listed this book in my favorite and the author in my favorite authors ever. Why? Because it made me laugh so much, it was an interesting story about two people who hated each other and then…
Reading this book was so much fun because I constantly have guessed what would happen and when romance would come. The story surprised me keeping me attached to the end.
Madison is hilarious and absorbing. I enjoy reading her abroad adventure. All she did was funny she went from one to another mistake. I hate Mark at first but turning pages I started to like him and understood him, his fears.
I recommend this book to everyone who loves lighted, funny and engaging books.
This book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley.
My rating 5/5.
